From Reluctant Pianist to Synth Enthusiast: My Musical Odyssey

That boy was me, and little did I know that this forced piano practice was the first step in a lifelong love affair with music.

As time passed, my musical palate expanded exponentially. I dove headfirst into the mosh pits of heavy metal, crowdsurfed through punk shows, headbanged to rock anthems, and found solace in classical compositions. Jazz improvisation captivated me, techno beats moved me, R&B grooves soothed me, pop choruses stuck in my head, and folk melodies transported me to distant lands.

But it was the allure of synthesizers that truly captured my heart. The warm, pulsating sounds of 80s synths, the infectious rhythms of house music, the electrifying energy of French house, the edgy attitude of electroclash, and the nostalgic charm of synth-pop – these genres reignited my passion for the keyboard.
